Don’t be shy about adding herbs – What if you prefer using herbs, as it relates to the creation of various meals? When it comes to slow cooking, herbs tend to add flavor to different foods, meaning that you can actually enhance the eventual culinary experience. Of course, you have to be mindful of when these are added. For the best results, you’d probably be better off incorporating them early on. Experiment with different methods, so that you can find the tastes that suit your preferences.

Bring in vegetables with care – Another element to add to your slow cooking efforts would be vegetables, which probably goes without saying. However, unlike herbs, you’d be best served by adding these late into the process. If you add them too early, they can overcook, resulting in less tasty ingredients with odd textures. When they are brought into the pot later on, they will taste great, all the while retaining their respective shapes.
